To protect fragile, sensitive or irreplaceable items for shipping, wrap them in bubble wrap, with the bubbles facing the product. Bubble wrap protects all surfaces of the item and the external plastic will distribute any impact amongst the packaging.

Polyethylene bubble wrap comes in many sizes. The range is 1/4 inch diameter, to one inch. The larger the bubbles, the higher level of shock absorption. But in addition to the shock absorption qualities of bubble pack, Atlantic Poly also offers anti-static bubble wrap for shipping sensitive electronic parts and equipment. Building codes have classified vapor barriers as having a water vapor permeance of 1 perm or less. Vapor retarding materials are generally categorized as: Impermeable, semi-permeable,  or permeable.

In the past few years, environmental activists have put plastic bags on their target list – unfairly using science and myths to promote an ideological agenda, without regard for thousands of American jobs and the livelihoods of so many families. There are many mistruths that need to be corrected. American-made plastic bags are mainly produced from natural gas – not oil. These plastic bags are sanitary, safe and 100% reusable and recyclable.
